The screenplay of Guzaarish has been invited by the Library of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences (Oscars) to be part of its permanent script collection.

Says director Sanjay Leela Bhansali, "The movie makes you aware about the beauty of life and what we have and how we should cherish it."
