Noted Bollywood Director Imtiaz Ali has urged film stars and film makers to return to Kashmir Valley saying that the beauty
of Kashmir was second to none in the world.
In an exclusive interview, Ali said that 'Kashmir is like paradise' and Bollywood filmmakers are missing its serenity by
remaining away from it.
He said that his apprehensions on the security in Kashmir fizzled out when his crew landed in Srinagar to shoot his
upcoming flick 'RockStar' starring Ranbir Kapoor and Nargis.
"I think the media is playing up the negative aspect of the situation in Kashmir more than the positive side of the valley. My
experience is that Kashmir is the most beautiful and highly peaceful place," Ali told.
He said people of the Valley are 'jolly good', very supportive and lovable.
"Police and people helped us a lot.Whole film unit comprised of 150 people was moved at the hospitality of the Kashmiri
people," Ali said.
Talking about ‘Rockstar' Ali said that its heroine Nargis is an American citizen, who is playing a Kashmiri Pandit girl's role
and arrives from Delhi to her homeland for her marriage.
While talking about his movies, Imtiaz Ali said that among ‘Socha na Tha' Love Aaj Kal' and ‘Jab We Met', the last one
was his favourite.
