Actor to play the undead in Navdeep Singh's next

Financial crunch killed their last project Basra. Nevertheless, Abhay Deol and director Navdeep Singh (Manorama Six Feet Under) team up again for the dark comedy Shaadi Of The Dead.

Confirms a source, "It is very high-concept, crazy comedy. It will be Bollywood's first zombie flick. The film's tone is Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge-meets-Shaun Of The Dead."

About Abhay's character the source adds, "A lot of prosthetics will be used in the film. We are also be having an international choreographer on board."

The source further reveals the heroine shortlist, "The director wants to have a fresh and interesting pairing for the film. He is planning to rope in Kangna Ranaut, Anushka Sharma or Genelia D'Souza for the romantic lead."
