Actor Zarina Wahab, who was portraying the role of Karan's mother Pratibha, will be replaced by Natasha Sinha in Zee TV's serial 'Yahaaan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli'.

"It has been a wonderful journey so. I had to quit the show due to some prior work commitments and also want to spend some more time with my kids, " says a misty-eyed Zarinaji while bidding adieu to the cast and crew.

An insider from the sets, who had a different story altogether, said, "No doubt she is a fine actress, but working with her could be quite troublesome. She doesn't turn up on sets, switches off her phone, lot of dates issues, etc kind of tribulations forced the channel & the production house to take this step. From next week, Natashaji will be essaying this role."

Natasha Sinha is overjoyed to bag the role of one of the most loved mothers in Indian television currently on air.

She says, "For me, acting has always been important. Although I keep it limited to one serial, but I need to act to keep myself going. When I was offered Pratibha's character I immediately grabbed it because it sounded like a challenging role as Pratibha has many layers to her character. I hope to live up to the benchmark set by Zarinaji."

Natasha Sinha was Dev Anand's discovery, who handpicked her to play the lead opposite his son in the movie 'Anand aur Anand'.

She has created waves in the small screen with her performances in iconic serials like Buniyaad, Zanjeerein, Lakerein, and Sukanya. With noteworthy performances in movies like Shatir, Goal and Gayab Natasha Sinha is all set to raise the bar in her new acting venture.
