Covers journey in car and on bike

It's a side of Shahid Kapoor few in the industry are aware of.

An impulsive Shaks took off on a short break to Goa with close friends recently. He covered part of the journey by car and part of it on his Harley Davidson, right up to the five-star hotel he was staying at.

Longer journey

Says a source, "The actor decided to take off on an impromptu holiday to Goa with friends for a few days, following a break in shooting for Mausam.

In fact, he loves driving his car so much that on this particular ride he took a detour and drove a longer distance than required."

"But Shaks also loves to travel with his bike. So, he took his Harley with him.

Mid-way through the drive, he told his driver (who occupies the passenger seat when Shahid drives the car) to take over and drove the bike till the hotel.

And yes, he does wear an helmet and follows safety precautions when riding a bike." After reaching Goa, the group headed for Baga beach.
