Ram Gopal Varma has been sending SMSes revealing the 'Dum Maaro Dum' ending

Ram Gopal Varma's has been keeping busy over the last few days. The director has been texting the ending of Rohan Sippy's Dum Maaro Dum to everyone in his phonebook.

The SMS reveals the exact ending of the film and also passes remarks on Abhishek's performance. Those who attended Rohan's personal trial on Tuesday night were heard exchanging notes about receiving texts from the filmmaker.

Suspense is out

A source who got the text message from the director reveals the exact content on condition of anonymity. "It gives away the suspense element of the film. I was shocked when I got such a text directly from Ramu.

Everyone knows DMD is a closely-guarded film and Rohan has been trying to keep it that way. It was a huge surprise for the audience. And now, he's spoilt it for us!"

Apart from giving away the ending, the SMS also makes a few remarks on AB Jr's performance. "They weren't really compliments or anything sweet. It was basically a dig on AB and it's shocking that Ramu is doing this for attention."

When contacted, Varma denied any such thing happened. "I have no idea what you are talking about! I haven't even watched the film." Rohan remained unavailable for comment.

What went wrong

A source reveals that things have gone sour between Ramu and Abhishek. Even though they worked in Sarkar and Sarkar Raj, RGV felt like Abhishek has deserted him for other producer-directors. Given his recent track record, the director felt alienated by someone he looked up to.

Common factor

Dum Maro Dum's director of photography Amit Roy used to be a regular in Ramu's films. He has also worked with Abhishek on his commercials. He's been getting rave reviews for his work in DMD.
