Mast Mast girl Raveena Tandon will jazz up Sandhya, the new production of Jackie Shroff, who has once again plunged into film production.Sandhya has been written by the late character actor Amjad Khan`s son Shadaab Khan, who played the lead opposite Rani Mukherjee in her debut film Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat. Shadaab also played the villain in Refugee and Hey Ram.

Sandhya is directed by cinematographer-director Santosh Sivan`s brother Sangeeth Sivan. It contains an intriguingly moody and brooding music score by Sandeep Chowta, who has become indelibly associated with raw and realistic cinema like Satya, Gang and Kaun.

Like Ram Gopal Varma`s Kaun, Sandhya is a suspenseful whodunit that dispenses with many conventions of mainstream Hindi cinema. It moves in real time and the special sound and optical effects are kept at a stark minimum.Besides Raveena Tandon and Jackie Shroff, Sandhya stars actor-turned-television anchor Javed Jaffrey in a key role.
