Ali Zafar is not just a singer, composer and actor but also an artist

Dubbed as Pakistan's Prince of Pop, Ali Zafar, who made himself popular in Bollywood with Tere Bin Laden, can easily be tagged multi talented.

The actor, who stars in Yash Raj's Mere Brother Ki Dulhan along with Katrina Kaif and Imran Khan, has wowed people with both his singing and acting skills. But a very few people know that Ali also paints.

The Channo hitmaker, who graduated from an art school earned money for his first music album by making portraits.

Reveals Ali, "I started making portraits of people at a five-star hotel lobby and charged R 500 per sketch. I didn't have enough money to record an album and make a video.

This is how I collected money for my first music album."

In fact, thanks to his painting, Ali met his wife Ayesha. "She had come to get her portrait done at the hotel lobby. That's when I met her and the rest is history."

So whom would he want to paint from B-Town? "I would love to draw Bachchan sir. I used to make his sketches when I was a kid, " says the Jhoom singer.

"I have participated in many exhibitions in Pakistan. After college, I went into music and films and stopped selling my paintings.

The only painting I have sold was the one which went out in the auction for the flood victims, " adds the actor, who will also be seen in David Dhawan's remake of Chashme Buddoor.
