Kareena Kapoor was so keen on patching up with the Roshans, that she even sent out feelers to them expressing a desire to be part of the sequel to Koi Mil Gaya.

A source close to the actress reveals that Kareena sent a message through some people that she wished to play the leading lady in Rakesh Roshan's film.

Kareena was ready to forget her differences with Roshan senior, just to do a film with Hrithik Roshan.

Roshan feared that it might rekindle the romance between Hrithik and Kareena. Rakesh Roshan didn't want any more trouble with the Kapoors, and therefore opted for Priyanka Chopra. But, according to Rakesh Roshan, not just Kareena even Rani Mukerji and many other actresses wanted to star in the film. But he zeroed in on Priyanka because she suited the role.
