Director Rajiv Ruia is set to remodel "Taarzan: The Wonder Car", a 2004 sci-fi thriller directed by Abbas Mustan, on a different scale. He is spending around Rs.21 crore to make three futuristic cars for the sequel, revealed the director.

"We are making three cars of Rs.6 to Rs.7 crore each, two for shoot and one for display. This is coming to around Rs.21 crore cumulatively, " Ruia told

"You can say that its's a James Bond car. It's a futuristic car with a complete different look and I think people have not seen such a car, even in Hollywood films also, ? he added.

Ator Ajay Devgn and Ayesha Takia and Vatsal Sheth starred in 'Taarzan: The wonder car', a Hindi adaptation of Hollwood horror 'Christine' (1983). The film crashed at the box-office.

The director, who is known for his animation film 'My Friend Ganesha', maintains that he would decide on the cast once he arrives at the final draft of the script.

"The work on the story is still on and we have not decided on the star cast. It would take another two months to lock the script and the shooting would start by December end or January, " said Ruia.

The film would have heavy visual effects, confirms Ruia.

"It would be shot abroad and would have heavy VFX works. We are also making a similar car in 3D as well, " he said.
