Actress Katrina Kaif Monday visited the shrine of Sheikh Salim Chisti to offer prayers and untie the sacred thread, which she had tied during the shooting of her forthcoming film "Mere Brother Ki Dulhan".

Dressed in a black suit and a green scarf, Katrina arrived very early at the dargah and offered a chadar. Assisted by Khadim bhai and Shanu, she then untied a 'dhaga' (sacred thread) as fulfilment of her "mannat".

ASI official Munnazzar Ali told: "This was the third time she came in recent months. She was shooting near the Tereh Mori Bandh with the Fatehpur Sikri ridge in the background for the film."

Also starring Imran Khan, "Mere Brother Ki Dulhan", releasing Sep 9, was also shot near Taj Mahal.
