Seema Parihar files a legal suit against filmmakers of 'Beehard The Ravines' for not including her in the film based on her late dacoit husband

Remember reformed dacoit Seema Parihar who was a contestant on the reality show Bigg Boss last year? She also featured in Krishna Mishra's 2007 film Wounded based on her life.

Seema is now back in news. She has filed a legal suit against Mishra who is making Beehard - The Ravines (A True Life Story) on the life of her late husband, dacoit Nirbhay Gujjar.

She was keen that the makers take her in the film to enact the role of his wife as well have her on board as consultant for the project. But the makers were not to make her a part of the project. As they were in no mood to listen to her, she took legal recourse.

The reformed dacoit who lives in Auraiya village near Kanpur filed a case against the director and producers (Shalini Gupta and Chanda Mishra) in the Allahabad High Court recently.

Says Mishra, "Yes, she filed a case and a hearing has also taken place. She was told that she couldn't stop us from making the film. We are confident that the verdict will be in our favour."

Not possible

He adds, "Nirbhay Gujjar had four wives. So she cannot say that she is the only one who knew him. Seema Parihar was his first wife. His second wife Munni Panday is dead.

While his other two wives, Parvati and Neelam, who also indulged in dacoity are behind bars. If we have to take Seema's permission, then we will also have to ask Parvati and Neelam. This is not possible as they are in jail."

Beehard - The Ravines, which was shot in Chambal, has an ensemble cast of newcomers. It has just completed the shoot and dubbing is in progress. The film is slated for a year-end release.
