After participating in dance reality show "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa", Shekhar Suman is now ready to judge the third edition of Maharashtra Open DanceSport Championship.

The championship, scheduled for Sep 17 at the National Centre for Performing Arts (NCPA), will see participants performing Latin American and Ballroom Dances.

"...With such great artistic history in India and lately with so many dance reality shows on television, dancing has surely been a part of every Indian soul...

I am very happy and honoured to be associated with DanceSport Association of Maharashtra and in full support to achieve their objective of creating DanceSport World Champions right here in India, " Shekhar said in a statement.

The others who will join Shekhar on the judges' panel are renowned trainer and athlete from Britain Manasi Amin and choreographer Pony verma.
