Will "Ho Sakta Hai", which has black magic as its main theme, weave its spell on viewers?

Special effects expert and director Wilson Louis is a little irked by the fact that his film "Ho Sakta Hai" is slated for release against the series of "Black" titles that are out to hit the screens shortly.

"Everyone keeps forgetting that it was me and my producer Ashok Kotwani who initiated the 'Black' title series. In fact, it was my tag line of 'Black Magic' that actually prompted the whole series," Louis protests.

Louis is particularly anxious that his film should not go unnoticed in the bargain.

"'Blackmail', 'Black' or 'Black Friday' are all big-banner films with budgets running into millions of rupees. In contrast, mine is a Rs.10 million film that needs an aggressive marketing strategy to ensure audience awareness. I am just hoping that it gets its due," he says.

Champak Jain of Venus, the presenters of the film, was reportedly impressed when he saw the film.

"He strongly felt that it definitely did not have the look of a Rs.10 million film. It was a compliment to me no doubt," Louis says.

The film has now been scheduled for a Feb 17 release, since producer Ashok Kotwani is busy negotiating the overseas business of the film.
