The singing diva of Bollywood Lata Mangeshkar will add one more feather to her cap when she receive the 'Hridaynath award' from Amitabh Bachchan for her contribution in the sector of music.

Bachchan will present the award to Lata Mangeshkar on Sept 28 when the singer will also celebrate her 82nd birthday.

The award is instituted by Mumbai-based socio-cultural organisation named Hridayesh Arts.

Mangeshkar has mesmeriesed her fans with innumerable songs in her long career. She captured the hearts of her audience by singing few of the popular tracks in Bollywood films like Baiju Bawra, Mughal-E-Azam, Kohinoor, Aag, Aah, Shree 420, and Chori Chori,

In the past years too she regaled listeners with songs of Devdas, Mujhse Dosti Karoge, Veer-Zaara and Lagaan.
