By now everyone knows about how fond father Amitabh and son Abhishek Bachchan are of Aishwarya Rai., Santa Banta News Network
/> While Abhishek has worked in a couple of films with Rai where they played the romantic leads (Dhai Akshar Prem Ke and Kuch Na Kaho), the senior Bachchan laments that so far Ash and he have only been paired as siblings (Hum Kissi Se Kam Nahin) and father-daughter(Mohabbatein).

January 29 was, however, a red-letter day for item songs in Bollywood. For the first time the Bachchans teamed up with Rai for a sizzling qawaali in Shaad Ali's Bunty Aur Babli.

The man behind this move is the reclusive Aditya Chopra who convinced Rai to do the song. Rai, herself, is no stranger to item songs.

She did the sizzling Ishq kameena with Shah Rukh Khan in Shakti for which Boney Kapoor paid her a whopping amount. It is not known how much Yashraj Films has offered Rai. But the banner's reputation and the bait of the Bachchans in a double-bill, did the trick.

Besides Rai was also offered the lead opposite Hrithik Roshan by Yashraj Films in the sequel to Dhoom.

"The song for Bunty Aur Babli composed by Shankar-Ehsan-Loy is mindblowing, just about the best work the trio has done," says Bollywood first item guy Abhishek Bachchan (remember One Love in Rakht?).
