Together, they have worked as co-stars in several films. But after working in Saurabh Shukla's recently released "Pappu Can't Dance Saala", actor Vinay Pathak says he shares a great equation with the actor-filmmaker.

"There is an understanding between me and Saurabh. It is not just about the work we do, its also about the great equation we share with each other. We can sense what we want from each other. I have huge respect for him as an actor, as a writer and as director, " Vinay told.

The two have been co-stars in "Mithya", "Khoya Khoya Chand" or "Oh My God" and "Utt Patang". Saurabh has also directed Vinay in "Raat Gayi Baat Gayi?".

"Saurabh and I go back a long way and we are like family to each other. We don't meet each other just to do films. When we are not discussing films, we play badminton or just chat and tell each other stories. He is a wonderful storyteller and a wonderful writer. That's what binds us together, " he added.
