Safety issues for single actresses is an ongoing concern in Mumbai. Last month (December 23) an intruder broke into Soha Ali Khan's home. Soha stays alone in Mumbai. Luckily, her boyfriend Kunal Khemu was with her when the thief barged in.

Kunal acted quickly and nabbed the intruder.

What if Soha was alone when the unwanted visitor showed up?

Says Kunal, "It was a scary situation. Thank God nothing untoward happened. I managed to catch him just in time and took him to the police station. "

The incident, however, has opened up the question of Soha's safety in Mumbai. Apparently there is considerable family pressure on her to marry her devoted boyfriend, more so since Soha's brother Saif Ali Khan is all set to take his relationship with Kareena Kapoor to the altar in February-March 2012.

Says a friend of the family, "Soha's mother Sharmila Tagore naturally wants Soha to settle down, like any mother would. More so now when she's the sole parent. And since Kunal is ready and willing we wonder what's stopping the couple. "

Soha, however, is not ready yet to settle into matrimony.

When we popped the question to her Soha quipped, "Though it (the intruder) was a terrifying experience I am not convinced marriage is the solution. I'd prefer solid grills for the window and some handy pepper spray. "

But friends of the couple insist there will be a second set of wedding bells in the Khan family in 2012.
