Hollywood star Pierce Brosnan, known for playing the famous character of James Bond, said on Monday
that he would be shooting for his next movie in India.
"The shooting for my next movie would take place in Los Angeles, London and India", Brosnan told
reporters at the launch function of a new range of watch at a south Mumbai multiplex.
Recalling his association with India, Brosnan said he had first come to the country nearly 15 years back to
shoot for a movie by Ismail Merchant and said he enjoyed working with Shashi Kapoor and Saeed Jafferey.
"It was my best movie", Brosnan said.
The Indian people have a "great sense of humour" which allows them to go on with the life, he said adding
"they (Indians) are great people with a great culture".
Replying to a query whether it would be possible for the Indians to get into Hollywood, Brosnan said "the
cross-pollination between Hollywood and Bollywood is getting closer" and added one needed to keep trying
and work hard to achieve success.
