Actor Boman Irani has been asked to do a cameo in Karan Johar's "Student of The Year". He will most likely share screen space with his son Kayoze, who is making his acting debut with the film.

"In Bangkok for a special appearance in SOTY ('Student of The Year'). Might just share screen space with my son Kayoze for the first time. Hope the blighter is nervous," Boman tweeted.

"Student of The Year" is Johar's next directorial project after his 2010 film "My Name Is Khan".

The film, being co-produced by Shah Rukh Khan, will also be a launch pad for three other newbies -- former model Siddharth Malhotra, David Dhawan's son Varun and Mahesh Bhatt's daughter Aalia.
