South Indian actor Danush has been visiting the city incognito to learn the local mannerisms

Kolaveri Di star Dhanush has been visiting Benares incognito for the last three months. The singer-actor has been spotted in the holy city on three different occasions.

He has been doing the rounds of the place to learn the nuances of the local people and the language. Dhanush essays a Hindi-speaking Brahmin boy, in the film with Sonam Kapoor playing his love interest.

As Dhanush is from the South, he is leaving no stones unturned to prepare for the role. Hindi and northern mannerisms is a language he is not familiar with. He has been taking a keen initiative to learn things so that when he starts shooting, he is well-prepared.
