Prateik has been nursing an injury near his eye. The actor has a deep gnash along his eyebrow.

During his recent visit to Singapore, the actor lost his balance while indulging in water sports. The boat's paddle hit him near the eye. As he was bleeding, first aid was administered to him and his injury bandaged.

The incident happened during his visit to a beach park in Singapore where he participated in several water sports. He was doing stand-up paddle surfing when he toppled over and the paddle hit him hard. Though he was in terrible pain for that day, he continued with his commitments. Says Prateik, "Luckily the paddle just missed my eye."
