After rescuing a stray cat, avid animal lover Imran Khan adopts it as his own pet

Imran Khan has been known to be an ardent animal lover. Not only has he had dogs for pets, buzz is that now a cat has earned this young actor's affections. Apparently, the cat has been following him everywhere in and around his Hill Road residence.

Our sources say that Imran's new pet is a six-month-old tabby that he rescued from his friend's building and decided to keep it as his own. Imran tells us, "This was a small cat which I had found at a friend's building.

The watchman was taking care of it and feeding her. The cat was already around five to six weeks then but it was very weak. I sensed that it would not survive and that's why I brought it home. Now it's healthy and is very close to my heart."

The actor has named the cat Sigmund.
