Akshay Kumar forgot to remove his fake moustache from 'Rowdy Rathore' while shooting for a song for his upcoming film at the same time

Little did Akshay Kumar know that all the extra effort he took to shoot the Mere nishan track in his upcoming production with Ashvini Yardi and Paresh Rawal would go waste. And all because of his fake moustache!

The actor who shot some portions of his film Rowdy Rathore at Hampi also decided to shoot sequences of his upcoming home production at the same location since there was time. However after the shoot, both he and director Prabhu Dheva realised that Akki had completely forgotten to remove his fake moustache during the shoot.

Ashivini Yardi, the co-producer of the film says, `Mere nishan was shot in south Mumbai and a few shots were to be filmed at some beautiful locale elsewhere.

Hence we decided to shoot it at the time when Akshay was already shooting in Hampi. Everything went as planned and Prabhu agreed to direct this bit for Akshay. They even got the shot right and everything was fine.`

Only after they sent the footage back to Mumbai did they realise that he was wearing clothes from this film and the fake moustache from Rowdy Rathore. Of course, the footage is now no longer a part of the song.`
