Actor reportedly refuses to lower his asking price for director Abhinav Kashyap's film

A French manicured Pali Hill birdie who we bumped into over the weekend was chirping in delight about some hot goss on Ranbir Kapoor

The birdie has been following director Abhinav Kashyap's attempts to make his next film after Dabangg with RK.

There has been buzz that he is doing/not doing the project. The birdie coos to inform that after Ranbir refused to budge (read: lower) from the pre-determined fee for the project, Abhinav turned to his dad Rishi Kapoor to put in a word over the price issue.

Now everyone knows that Rishi does not meddle in his son's career and is known for his sarcastic sense of humour. He apparently told Abhinav to get packing before he unleashed his sarcasm. Last heard Abhinav is still reeling over Ranbir's no budge stand as well as his dad's spiel!
