There has been a lot of mystery surrounding Ranaut's 'boyfriend' who she apparently broke up with

Actress Kangna Ranaut recently broke-up with her boyfriend Nicholas Lafferty. But there has been a lot of mystery around the man she dated and has now apparently broken off with

A source from the industry says, `Kangna revealed that she had a UK-based doctor as her boyfriend on Simi Garewal's chat show about a year back. After that there was no mention of him for a long time. Finally his pictures with Kangna were splashed in a daily revealing the mystery man that she was dating.


The 'boyfriend' was supposed to be in Mumbai for a month, as he is a doctor and had finally got some time off from his busy schedule. However once he went back, there was no mention of him and now finally there comes news that the two have have broken up as he wanted to settle down while she wanted to pursue her acting career.`

The source also points out that there has been no official statement from either Kangna and absolutely nothing has been known about the 'said boyfriend'. The million-dollar question now is was the boyfriend for real or was it just a cover-up for Kangna to stay away from her two controversial former boyfriends?

A source elaborates, `She is an established actress now and has proven to everyone that she can deliver. After Tanu Weds Manu, she is at the peak of her career and has some promising line up of films coming up.


However she was constantly in news for her controversies rather than the good work that she was doing in her films. Her previous two relationships with Aditya Panscholi and Adhyayan Suman came haunting her time and again and that's why she chose to bring in her 'new boyfriend' in the picture.`

With the media now busy covering her new break-up, perhaps Kangna can now breathe easy and pack her past away to some dark corner of her closet...
