Current MP and newly-turned grandpa, Raj Babbar to essay the character of a politician in Tigmanshu Dhulia's next film

Raj Babbar is the latest addition to Tigmanshu Dhulia's upcoming film starring Saif Ali Khan. He has been cast in the role of a politician who plays mentor to Saif's character. Considering that he is an actor-turned-politician, he will bring his own touch to the screen persona.

Says a source, `Tigmanshu Dhulia along with producer Rahul Mittra went to meet Raj Babbar to wish him on becoming a grandfather after his daughter Juhi delivered a baby boy. Little did he know that they would also surprise him with an offer to act in their film as well!`

Babbar also features in Dhulia's sequel to his last year's flick Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster in which he essays Soha Ali Khan's father.

Producer Rahul Mittra says, `We begin shooting in November in Lucknow. He's a disciplined actor and as he is a MP himself he will add his own touches to the character.`

Baby boy for Juhi
Raj Babbar's daughter Juhi, who married TV actor Anup Soni last year, gave birth to a baby boy last week. Both the mother and son are doing fine and the parents have apparently named him Emaan.
