While it's commonly said that soon-to-be-brides lose a lot of weight in anticipation of their big day, looks like soon-to-be groom Saif Ali Khan now needs to shed some extra kilos.

Buzz is that at the fitting session of an ongoing bridal fashion show, the actor realised he had gained some inches around the waist.

Our source at the fashion event says, `Saif is scheduled to walk for designer Mandira Wirk. At the costume fitting and rehearsal, everyone was surprised to see his ensemble was not fitting him too well.`


The source adds, `There were only a few hours remaining to the main event. The costume was then adjusted and altered on the spot.` Could his extensive travelling, planning around the nuptials and pre-wedding stress be the reasons for his weight gain? Our guess is as good as yours.
