The semi-finals of Zee TV's show Dance Ke Superkids will see Bollywood actress Rani Mukherji gracing the occasion. The sultry Bengali beauty had come on the sets to promote her upcoming film Aiyyaa.

Rani announced, `I am here to do a lot of Masti with the Dance Ke Baaps,` the moment she entered the sets. And this is exactly what she did at the semi-finals of Dance Ke Superkids.

The moment she met Grandmaster Mithun Chakraborty, she bent down to touch his feet to seek his blessings for her upcoming movie.

`The world may call him Dada or Mithun Da but for me he will always be Mithun Mama (Maternal uncle). He has known me since the time I was born,` said Rani.

`I have seen her grow up and it's a proud moment when she is touted to be one of the most talented actresses, ` said Mithun.

Right from singing Aati Kya Khandala with Jeet Das to showing him the famous flaming matchstick trick, to making rotis for Om... Rani did it all.

Last but not the least host Jay Bhanushali finally got a peck on his cheeks by Rani.

Rani has worked with all three mentors of the show Geeta Kapur, Marzi Pestonji and Farah Khan in the past.

Farah said, `I met Rani on the sets of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. It was her second movie but after the first take of the song Koi Mil Gaya, I walked up to Karan Johar and announced that one day this girl would take the industry by storm. I am delighted to see that I was right!`

The world television premiere of the song Sawa Dollar from her upcoming movie Aiyyaa happened on the sets of Dance ke Superkids.

`Ranu (Rani Mukherji's pet name) you are not Sawa Dollar but Sawa Million Dollars!` Farah added.

`Aiyyaa is probably the first movie where an actress has showcased three different dance styles. Aiyyaa will see Rani doing Lavni on a Maharashtrian number, she will gyrate to a typical Tollywood song bringing all the flavors of the south and hold your breath... she took lessons in Belly Dancing to do justice to a number from the movie,` said Marzi, who has choreographed Rani on numerous occasions.

`Rani is one of the most diligent actresses I have ever known. She giver her heart and soul to whatever she does. It has always been a joy to choreograph her,` commented Geeta.

`I came to be known as Geeta Ma after Dance India Dance but Rani had conferred the title of Ma to my name ages back,` added Geeta.

Rani thanked everybody profusely for all the accolades and took the opportunity to dance with Geeta and Marzi on the song Nach Baliye from the movie Bunty Aur Babli.

The biggest surprise of the evening came when Rani chose the Dance Ke Superkids platform to launch the music album of Aiyyaa.

Commenting on the same, Rani said, `I chose India's most loved dance reality show for the music launch as my association with dance goes back to my childhood days when all the kids of our extended family would take part in Durga Puja celebrations.

"We would choreograph dance acts on Rabindra Sangeet songs; our only audience being our family members. Still, each of us would plan our dance acts meticulously and wait for Pujo every year. I just wanted to relive those happy memories.`
