Television actor Kratika Sengar, who wowed viewers as the fiery Jhansi Ki Rani and went on to win millions of hearts as Aarti of Punarvivaah, is all set to showcase her prowess over classical Bharatnatyam in the upcoming 'Ganesh Chaturthi' mahaepisode of Zee TV's soap Pavitra Rishta.

Kratika said, `I am performing a classical dance to the song 'Man Mohini' from Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam in Pavitra Rishta's Ganesh Chaturthi celebration. The evocative lyrics and the drama infused by Shankar Mahadevan's spirited vocal style make this song a personal favorite."

"I had been out of touch with Bharatnatyam, an art form I had trained in for over 5 years. But given my love for the form and my training, I was able to pick up the steps rather quickly," she said.

"I loved the way the entire act was choreographed and the look chosen for me. I hope the audience enjoys it just as much!`

Kratika recently clinched the 'Aadhi Aabadi' award in Delhi that recognizes women super-achievers.

While her show, Jhansi Ki Rani, reminded viewers about the most formidable woman of Indian history who fought like a man for the freedom of her land, her current show Punarvivaah has brought about a positive shift in the public mindset towards the remarriage of women.

The award was presented to her for being a motivational force for scores of women across the country.

Kratika's dance cameo will be seen alongside exciting dance performances by several actors of Zee TV and from the television fraternity at large.

The star attractions include actor Gaurav Chopra doing a Shiv Taandav, Ravi Dubey setting the stage ablaze with the racy item song Chinta ta Chita Chita and the likes of Nandish Sandhu, Kinshuk Mahajan, Narayani Shastri, Rupal Tyagi, Gulki Joshi and Ankit Gera dancing up a storm for Ganpati Bappa.

Yesteryear actor Jitendra will also make an appearance on the show and partake in a maha aarti.

The key actors of Pavitra Rihsta - Hiten Tejwani, Ankita Lokhande, Rithwik Dhanjani and Asha Negi - will be seen performing not only dance acts but Ganesh Vandana and Ganesh Visarjan in this special episode to be aired on Saturday.
