After a period of almost 7 years when he had almost decided to quit production due to the problems he was facing on the professional and personal front, producer Sudhakar Bokade is all set to bounce back with not one but three films, being directed by Parto Ghosh, Kundan Shah's chief assistant, Chinmai and Karan Razdan.

In fact Bokade has already wrapped up the shooting of the film with Parto Ghosh, titled WHY... KYON, which stars Sanjay Kapoor, Jatin Grewal and Sanjay Singh in the lead. "It is a fast paced suspense thriller and has shaped up very well," Bokade informs, adding that the cast for the other two films is currently under consideration.

In addition Bokade is also looking at the release of his three long-awaited productions, the Saif Ali Khan starrer, YEH PYAR HI TO HAI (earlier titled SAMBANDH), KALINGA and KANYADAAN, which had been held back due to financial and distribution problems. "I have already worked out on a distribution network for the three films. In fact, YEH PYAR HI TO HAI has got a very encouraging response in the distribution market what with Saif being hot in the market," Bokade says.

The big question on everyone's mind is whether he will indeed be able to release KALINGA, the film that got him into a huge financial mess, with its budget going overboard and the subsequent differences he had with Dilip Kumar. "Well, that has all been sorted out. Dilip-saab has now become very good friends. We are planning to start the post-production of the film very soon so that we'll be able to release it some time this year," he says.

Is he happy about this new phase in his life? "Definitely. At one point of time, I was a disillusioned man but I realized that there is always a way out provided you have the determination and the will to get out of the crisis. The intervening phase has only made me strong man," he smiles.
