While hurricane Sandy is showering her wrath over the east coast of USA, singer Mika unfortunately has been caught in the blitzkrieg

However, the crooner is making the most of the situation by cooking for his team members in the hotel they are currently stuck in. Mika had travelled to the US for his music concert.

According to our sources, Mika and his team are waiting for a clearance from the authorities to depart from the hotel. A source informs, `Mika's concert in Washington DC went full house the day before, despite severe warnings of the impending hurricane.

The singer who is in the middle of his world tour's US and Canada leg is now stuck there. The hotel where he is currently staying is out of power. He is known to be a good cook and he has been cooking for his friends and band members who are also stuck with him.`

Speaking from DC, Mika says, `At the moment we are not allowed to venture out of the hotel and there are power cuts so we have no choice but to stay indoors and stay alert. But if they allow me, I hope I can join the firefighters to help people in distress. Meanwhile I am helping out with the cooking and even prepared chicken for the people here.`
