The filmmaker to relaunch his long-pending film while retaining Bollywood bigwigs like Amitabh Bachhan, Ajay Devgn, Anil Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt and others

It was touted to be one of the biggest films to have been planned in the Hindi film industry with a power-packed cast. Rajkumar Santoshi's film, starring Bollywood bigwigs like Amitabh Bachhan, Ajay Devgn, Anil Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt and others has had its fair share of problems. But apparently now, the filmmaker is all set to restart work on his film.

With a stellar star cast, comes the usual problems of dates and that's exactly what happened to Santoshi's film. The project was launched in October, 2010. Despite quite an elaborate launch party at a suburban hotel in the city and shooting commencing thereafter, the film was stalled within 10 days.

Our source says, `A lot of time has passed since then and all the concerned actors have moved on and are working on their respective films. But if all goes well, Rajji will start working on the film again by the middle of next year. The dates have been sorted out.`
