Now we hear producer Boney Kapoor, who is planning a sequel to the 1987 hit, Mr India, has roped in the original's director Shekhar Kapur for the ambitious project.

According to the sources, The script of the sequel is nearing it's completion. No star-cast has been finalized as of yet. But it is just a heard announcement of director Shekhar Kapur will be directing it.


Earlier Shekhar Kapur was busy with 'Paani' with Hrithik Roshan in mind. He also had offered to be the creative consultant. But Mr.India 2 will definitely won't be possible with him, We guess!

Shekhar Kapur will be seen playing a very important role in Kamal Haasan's much delayed 'Vishwaroop'.
