Former Miss India beauty pageant winner and Bollywood actress Juhi Chawla turned a year older on Tuesday.

The actress, who was born in 1967 in Haryana, turned 45 years.

After winning Miss India contest in 1984, Chawla started her Bollywood career in 1986 with the film 'Sultanat'.

In 1988 she starred in 'Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak' along with Aamir Khan which became an instant box office hit and the film received classic status.

She then featured in films like 'Hum Hain Rahi Pyaar Ke', 'Darr', 'Yes Boss', 'Deewana Mastana', 'Ishq', 'Bol Radha Bol ', 'Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman', 'Yes Boss', 'Salaam-e-Ishq: A Tribute To Love' and other films.

Since 2000 she starred doing crossover films for which she gained critical acclaim. She starred in films like '3 Deewarein', '71/2 Phere', 'My Brother Nikhil', 'Bas Ek Pal' 'I Am' and few others.

The actress has also featured in few Punjabi and Kannada films.

Juhi won Filmfare Award for her film 'Hum Hain Rahi Pyaar Ke'.

Juhi's pairing with the Perfectionist of Bollywood, Aamir Khan and the Badshah of Bollywwod, Shahrukh Khan has always been loved by the audience.

Juhi later turned producer and became the co-owner of a production company called Dreamz Unlimited with Shahrukh Khan and director Aziz Mirza. She is also the co-owner of Indian Premier League team 'Kolkata Knight Riders'.

Chawla is married to industrialist Jai Mehta and have two children.
