Bollywood actors Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's daughter Aaradhya turned one on Friday.

According to reports, Bachchans have planned a private birthday party for Aaradhya.

Speaking to media, Aishwarya earlier said: "Time just flies and now Aaradhya will turn one year old. For her first birthday we plan to make it a private and family affair. Only close family and my parents will attend the birthday celebration."

Aaradhya's parents reportedly gifted their daughter a red-and-black BMW Mini Cooper on her first birthday.

"First birthdays are generally special for the mothers because they spend so much time with the little ones and take care of them," Abhishek was quoted as saying by media.

Superstar Amitabh Bachchan's grand-daughter Aaradhya was long kept away from the glares of media and public by her family since she was born last year.

She made her first public appearance earlier this moth during Aishwarya's birthday when the Bollywood actress was conferred a civilian award by the French government.

The one-year-old has always dragged media attention since her birth.
