40 Years after the liberation of Bangladesh, Pritish Nandy who wrote fiercely independent and incisive articles in the Illustrated Weekly Of India and other publications of the early 1970s on the Liberation Movement has been invited by the Bangladesh government to be honoured on 15 December.

The function will honour those intellectual minds who helped Bangladesh attain liberation.
