Director Bejoy Nambiar, who is busy with his bilingual venture "David", has shot a part of it in black and white to make the film interesting.

Produced by Reliance Entertainment, the film stars Neil Nitin Mukesh, Vinay Virmani, Monica Dogra, Isha Sharvani and southern star Vikram.

There are three stories in "David", one of which is set in London in 1975 and features Neil as a gangster. According to a source, Nambiar wanted to show that old charm of London and that's why he shot the part in black and white.

"Yes, a part of the film has been shot in black and white where London of 1975 will be shown. It was Nambiar's idea to do so," said a spokesperson of the film.

The film releases Feb 1.
