Now this is what friends are for! Tena Desae's close buddy Dev Patel who is currently miles away from India apparently enquired after her to congratulate the starlet on her new film.

Tena is over the moon that Dev, who she knows from the days of The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, sent her a text message to wish her. Both the actors were part of the film's cast.

The starlet also took some of her closest friends and family members in town to celebrate over a lavish dinner.


A source says, `Tena is happy to have started the New Year on a good note. And nothing could make it more special than having Dev remember her from half way across the globe. She is thrilled.`
