Anil Kapoor to essay a Muslim character for the first time in his career

Like every star wants to do something special in every film, Anil Kapoor is happy playing a Muslim man in his next. The actor is said to be thrilled essaying a Muslim cop in Sanjay Gupta's gangster project.

The actor says, `Since I have never played such a character, I had to work hard to prep for the role.`

Anil also plays a cop in Abbas-Mustan's next. But the actor says his character in khaki in Gupta's film is shades apart from the director- duo's project. `In Gupta's film my character doesn't even know how to talk English!`

He also feels that ever since having worked in international films, his style of dressing has undergone a sea change.

Says Anil, `When you are working on the international platform, the bar raises naturally. There is a lot of detailing that goes into shaping a character and that also reflects in the way I dress now.`
