After a busy day at work, John Abraham dropped in for director Kapil Sharma's late-night birthday bash

Despite his busy work calendar, John Abraham does not forget his friends and associates. After a long day spent shooting for his Chitrangada Singh co-starrer and promotional activities for Abbas-Mustan's next, the actor made sure he attended the birthday party of director Kapil Sharma.

A source from the party says, `While shooting in the morning with Chitrangada, he came to know it was Kapil's birthday. He stayed back for a small celebration post the shoot and then proceeded to his other film event. In the night, he returned for the big party on the sets.`

Producer Goldie Behl, who was also present at the party, says, `John smashed an entire chocolate cake on Kapil's face. He was in his element!

Even after washing his face five times over, Kapil couldn't get the cake off.`
