The film is directed by Vishesh Bhatt who is a son of producer Mukesh Bhatt. The film carries forward the legacy of 'Murder' series which is a Trade-Stamp of the Bhatt-Camp.

This one is said to be a remake of Spanish thriller 'The Hidden Face'. Murder 3 also has Randeep Hooda and Sara Cohen in the film.
