Actor-producer John Abraham, currently busy promoting his film "I, Me Aur Main", says he is the most imperfect man.

"I am not perfect. I am the most imperfect man. Any man who says that he is perfect, trust me, it's a lie. I have tried. I have lied... I am trying to be a better human being," John told reporters at "I, Me Aur Main" press meet.

The entire star cast of the film was present at the promotions including Chitrangada Singh, Prachi Desai and Goldie Behl.

The 40-year-old says "I, Me Aur Main" is a tribute to all women.

"The film is releasing on March 1st and March 8th is Women's Day, so this film is dedicated to all the women. It's a tribute to women," he said.

Describing his kind of girl, John said: "Definitely, she will be simple. The beauty about any relationship is its simplicity. Just settle down with the one with whom you have a connection."

In the film, Prachi will be seen as the-girl-next-door and finds similarity between her and her character. "The character is the closest to my heart. There's a lot of me in it. It was coming out very naturally."

Post-'Vicky Donor' success, I'm taken seriously

Actor John Abraham, who turned producer with critically acclaimed 'Vicky Donor', says the industry people have started taking him seriously post the success of the film

The film, starring new-comers Ayushmann Khurrana and Yami Gautam, was a surprise hit at the box office in 2012. "After I turned producer last year with 'Vicky Donor' things have changed for me. Industry people have started taking me seriously. I think somewhere that was the turning point. They all understood that content matters to me," John told reporters here today.

"I did films like 'No Smoking', 'Kabul Express', 'Water' which were different and ahead of their time. For me 'Vicky Donor' was a big turning point." The 40-year-old model-turned actor-producer, who has completed a decade in Bollywood, insisted he believes in doing films across various genres.

He would be seen next in Kapil Sharma's 'I Me Aur Main', Sanjay Gupta's 'Shootout at Wadala' and Shoojit Sircar's 'Madras Cafe'. "I want to do films of different genres. Like 'I Me Aur Main' is slice of life, 'Shootout at Wadala' is action and 'Madras Cafe' is a political thriller," said the actor, who made his debut with 'Jism' in 2003.
