It was Beti B's first visit to her great grandmother in Bhopal and the doting Big B played the perfect grandpa as he chartered a plane to ferry his little bundle of joy to the city.

Amitabh Bachchan hired a chartered flight to secure absolute comfort for his granddaughter Aaradhya Bachchan - now called Beti B- in her little trip to meet Jaya Bachchan's mother in Bhopal, the hometown of the latter.

"Bachchanji is in Bhopal to shoot for Prakash Jha's next film Satyagraha. Along with Abhishek, Ash and Aaradhya, he reached the city around noon and went straight to Ansal Apartments where Jaya's ailing mother Indira Bhaduri stays, " Mid Day quoted source in a report.

However, Jaya did not accompany the family.

Post the trip, Junior B, Ash and Aaradhya took the chartered flight back to Mumbai the same evening, said reports.
