Priyanka Chopra to sport taut stomach muscles for her role as Olympic boxer in new biopic

No actress in Bollywood has played a boxer before. Naturally as Priyanka Chopra is gearing up to essay Olympic boxer Mary Kom, she will be training hard to achieve a sportswoman's body.

Sources say that PC is working very hard to develop abdominal muscles to portray Mary to the hilt.

A source says, `She is taking her fitness to another level. Priyanka is charged up for her role. If she hasn't found time in the day to work out, she hits the gym even in the middle of the night.`


Apparently it was Priyanka who convinced the makers about her look in the project abs et al and currently is huffing and puffing away at the gym.

Turns Badmash Babli for Shootout At Wadala'

Actress Priyanka Chopra will perform a special retro song in Sanjay Gupta's new film "Shootout At Wadala".

"So Priyanka Chopra it is guys! She will be performing our smashing retro chartbuster- 'Babli badmaash hai', composed by Anu Malik," Gupta tweeted.


Releasing May 1, "Shootout at Wadala" features John Abraham, Anil Kapoor, Kangna Ranaut, Sonu Sood, Manoj Bajpayee and Tusshar Kapoor.

The film is based on the first-ever registered encounter by Mumbai police, where gangster Manya Surve was shot dead. The encounter took place in Wadala, Mumbai Nov 1 1982. The film is expected to release on May 1.
