Onir wants to connect with people via movies

Filmmaker Onir says he wants to use the medium of filmmaking to connect with the audience.

The 43-year-old is known for making movies like "Bas Ek Pal", "My Brother Nikhil" and "I AM", which have touched social issues and he wants people to think about his work after watching it.

"Cinema is youngest and powerful form of art. And I as a filmmaker would like to use this medium to reach out to people and not something that you will go, watch and forget," Onir told.
