The most talked about Erotic Thriller 'Hate Story 2' rolls finally. The film is a sequel to 2012's money-spinner thriller Hate Story which was produced by Vikram Bhatt and Directed by Vivek Agnihotri. Hate Story 2 is directed by Vishal Pandya who is an associate director to Vikram Bhatt.

Vishal Pandya had earlier directed 'Three-Love, Lies and Betrayal' in 2008. Hate Story is his second directorial venture which stars Surveen Chawla and Sushant Singh Rajput in the lead.

According to the director, Hate Story 2 is based on Mumbai's dirty politics and how a woman uses her mind to play her games.

"We were actually planning some other film and Vikramji (Vikram Bhatt) told me why not to write the sequel of our own Hit Film. That's how Hate Story 2 happened. The casting for the film was very difficult. It took me almost 4 months to cast every single actor for Hate Story 2." revealed Vishal Pandya.


Vishal Pandya did not feel appropriate to repeat Paoli Dam in the sequel and he went ahead with another fresh face Surveen Chawla as the main protagonist this time. Surveen had done few Punjabi Films earlier.
