According to the trade, a crowded week and ongoing exams sealed the fate of last week's releases at the box office

The last weekend has proved to be quite a disappointment at the box office as none of Friday's three releases have managed to garner any scores.

I Me Aur Main, The Attacks of 26/11 and Bloody Ishq have bit the dust. The films didn't open well and went from bad to worse in the weekend leading to Monday.

26/11 has collected Rs 4.81 crore in its opening weekend with Friday being Rs 1.36 crore, Saturday being Rs 1.45 crore and Sunday being 2 crore. While the collections of I Me Aur Main are Rs 5.23 crore in its opening weekend with Friday being Rs 1.44 crore, Saturday - Rs 1.76 crore and Sunday being Rs 2.01 crore.

Meanwhile Kai Po Che collected R 27.46 crore in its first week and its second weekend is at R 8.52 crore with Friday being - Rs 1.74 crore, Saturday is Rs 2.87 crore and Sunday was Rs 3.97 crore. The total of Kai Po Che in its first 10 days is at Rs 36 crore all-India.

Amod Mehra, trade analyst says, `Both I Me Aur Main opened very badly and there was hardly any improvement even on Sunday, which is considered to be a better day. No one is interested in watching 26/11. The film didn't have any star cast and it lacked emotions for any audience to connect with. Everything seems halfhearted and overall is an insipid film.`

According to Mehra, the title of I Me Aur Main didn't work for the film and the timing of the release was the last nail on the coffin.

He adds, `The only saving grace of the film is its length but the music failed as well. The second weekend of Kai Po Che failed to impress as the film was promoted as the story of three friends but turned out to be around the Godhra riots, which backfired. Bloody Ishq is a washout.`

Trade expert Atul Mohan adds, `26/11 had a mixed response among the audience. It is a crowded week, plus there are exams as well which has resulted in the downfall of the John Abraham starrer. John's fans are youngsters and they are busy with their exams.`
