After receiving much critical acclamation, Bollywood flick Listen Amaya returned to the big screen once again at Eros in Jungpura, Delhi and Priya Cinema in Kolkata this Woman's Day.

"Based on the pivotal characters of two women Deepti Naval (Leela) and Swara Bhaskar (Amaya) and their mother-daughter relationship, there is no better occasion to watch the film and celebrate the spirit of womanhood," said an official spokesperson on Friday.

The film also stars veteran actor Farooq Sheikh (Jayant).

Listen Amaya, an independent release being showcased alongside 7 big banner films, in a week had an encouraging good run in Delhi.

"Not only on weekends but also weekdays, for 3 weeks the film garnered 50-60% occupancy at DT Vasant Kunj. The film had also acquired positive & great responses in Kolkata as well. Hence, based on stellar performances the film has made a mark for itself which has led to re-releasing the film in the two cities," said the spokesperson.

Swara Bhaskar who plays the title role as 'Amaya' won several accolades from the critics and the viewers for her performance.

In the film she depicts the journey of a daughter who realizes that her love for her mother is slowly turning into one that is possessive and selfish.

Swara plays the role of a young, confident, urban bred girl.

She is a bit of a spoilt brat, but a warm, loving and spirited personality and is used to her mother's undivided love and attention.

On this occasion, Swara said, `Listen Amaya was a really special film for me, not just because I got to work with legendary actors like Farooque Sheikh and Deepti Naval so early in my career, but because the film celebrates women as mothers, daughters, friends and lovers."

"It's also really special that this film is re-releasing in single screen theatres in Delhi and Kolkata on 8th March 2013- International Women's Day.

"It gently depicts this struggle through a very sensitive mother-daughter story and celebrates the possibility of women finding their own guilt-free-personal fulfillment and happiness. Watch it once-again on 8th March and celebrate womanhood!` she said.

In addition, single screen owners from other cities like Jaipur and Lucknow have also reportedly shown interest in releasing the film in these cities as well.
