Shah Rukh Khan gifts expensive two-wheeler to Rohit Shetty on his birthday

For a while now Shah Rukh Khan has been shooting in Wai for Rohit Shetty's upcoming film Chennai Express. It was Rohit's birthday on Thursday and SRK had planned a surprise party for him. And he had the perfect gift too for the director, who is a self-confessed lover of bikes and cars.

According to sources, the actor gifted Rohit an Ed Hardy bike. Shah Rukh had also invited the director's family to the bash that was organised at a Wai hotel. The director is said to have been overwhelmed at the gesture.

A source from the unit says, `It was a classy affair. The entire cast and crew were invited and SRK's co-star Deepika Padukone was also present. SRK had made sure that none of the unit members informed Rohit about the party.`

The director was apparently pleasantly surprised at the actor's meticulous planning. Rohit's mother, wife and kids were also present at the bash.


The source adds, `SRK pulled everyone onto the dance floor. Rohit who normally calls it a day early was also seen enjoying the party till quite late in the night.`

We also hear that Rohit has decided to travel from the hotel to the shoot location everyday on his spanking new two-wheeler.
